At Tenjin Daiseikai, fresh fish is purchased daily from the Fukuoka City Fish Market and served at approachable prices. One of the restaurant’s highlights is its richly flavorful broth made from red sea bream. The Tai Dashi Oden, infused with this broth, has been a popular menu item since opening. For this fair, a new dish using that signature broth has been added for a limited time. By steaming the red sea bream with the sea bream broth, its umami is amplified even further. Partway through the dish, enjoy a change in flavor by adding plum paste. It is also recommended to pair the remaining broth with rice toward the end of the meal.
